Resorts World Birmingham

Thomas Bow City Asphalt has started work on a new contract with Genting Casinos UK at their new £150m ‘Resorts World Birmingham’, Casino and Leisure complex development at the NEC in Birmingham. The contract includes transforming two existing NEC car parks, introducing a new HGV road, building two new security gatehouses and remodelling the car parks to optimise the capacity ahead of the public opening in Spring 2015.

John Allen Major Projects and Compliance Director commented “It’s great to be called upon to upgrade these facilities for Genting and as the current framework providers to the NEC for road resurfacing and repairs, we know and understand the sites involved. This project demonstrates the range of services we can provide as a construction group, including Civil Engineering, Surfacing and Building.”
