Oxton Yard Development
Following the expansion of the business over recent years, Thomas Bow has made significant investments in expanding the current yard at Oxton, Nottinghamshire and installed state-of-the-art facilities in support of the business moving forward.
The development has seen the current facility double in size, with a new wash-down area for plants and vehicles, new vehicle lifts, a new office and control room, welfare facilities and a training room for the next generation of Thomas Bow employees.
The official opening by Commercial Director Andrew Jackaman and newly appointed Depot, Plant and Transport Manager George Farrell, concludes significant capital investment in the site as well as expanding the plant and transport support team based there.
Commenting on the opening Andrew Jackaman said “We’ve put a lot of effort into this development, ensuring it is right for the people that use it on a daily basis and that it’s fit for the future of our business. It’s great to see it all come to fruition after 18 months in the planning, the yard plays a central role in our business and we hope these investments will pay dividends in our future success.”
