This contract held for the past 13 years has seen Thomas Bow City Asphalt work closely with Walesby Forest to develop the 250 acre into a modern activity centre used by groups across the UK and Europe.

The partnership has seen Civil Engineering and Surfacing expertise given to the client to transform this site, which has included 10.5 Km of extensive granular trails, footpaths and access roads alongside large car parks.

Thomas Bow City Asphalt have maintained a ‘minimal impact’ approach to path construction through wooded areas with careful root management to protect these trees in the popular tourist area of Sherwood Forest.

As well as new construction the contract has also included ongoing grounds maintenance including, grass cutting, pruning.
