Having proven themselves over many contracts with Birmingham Airport since 2011, including Air-side works, Thomas Bow City Asphalt were successful in winning the contract to remodel long stay car park number 1 at Birmingham Airport.

The works, covering in excess of 40,000 sq metres incorporated full re-surfacing, drainage, landscaping, lighting and fencing at Birmingham Airports largest car parking facility. In addition the project included a 5,000 sq metre extension over the old A45 carriageway to create an additional 800 spaces taking the total to 4,619 spaces.

The project was carefully planned and executed by Brian White, Contracts Manager over a 20 week period into 4 phases to maintain parking at the busy airport, protecting revenues.
