Nottingham & Derby City Councils’ Joint Highway Framework 2013-2017
TBCA are the preferred contractors for a £125m framework spanning Nottingham, Derby, and possibly many MHA members.
We are incredibly proud to announce that Thomas Bow City Asphalt have not only won a placement on the Nottingham and Derby City Councils’ Joint Highway Framework but are the preferred contractors for surfacing and major highway works for this £125m framework.
£25m of the framework has the potential to allow us to work with many other members of the Midland Highway Alliance which includes authorities such as Staffordshire, Rutland, and Milton Keynes councils.
Alistair Bow, Managing Director of Thomas Bow commented: “It is great to retain work for Nottingham City Council and we are also glad to bring our experience over to Derby City Council after working for Derbyshire County Council for so many years.”
Thomas Bow has already begun work on a £16.2m upgrade to the A6514 Ring Road aiming to reduce congestion and improve reliability. This represents a massive contribution from the Department for Transport and the council themselves. This major improvement scheme is something we are excited to be part of as a local contractor.
The joint framework is scheduled to run from 2013 to 2017.
