Nottingham Rugby ‘Big Match Sponsors’ at Nottingham Forest
Thomas Bow City Asphalt is tonight supporting Nottingham Rugby as ‘Big Match Sponsors’ for Nottingham Forest versus Rotherham United.
The move aims to promote the new home of Nottingham Rugby at ‘The Bay’, Lady Bay, West Bridgeford ahead of the first Saturday game on 21st March 2015 against Moseley, followed by live Six Nations action as England take on France.
Thomas Bow City Asphalt has long supported Nottingham Rugby and when the ‘Green and Whites’ decided to move to Lady Bay at the end of 2014, they got the full support of Thomas Bow City Asphalt to help make the move a success. Site Manager Mick Matthews led a team to transform the playing field and tennis courts into a facility fit for the championship side to host the final five home games of the 2014/15 season.
Utilising the construction group resources Mick and his team have created a temporary infrastructure for the club including parking facilities, pathways, drainage and ducting. Speaking about the project Mick said ‘It’s great to be able to play a part in the next chapter of Nottingham Rugby’s development. This project was a team effort to install all the facilities, on a tight schedule ahead of the first game at Lady Bay. Now it’s time to enjoy those facilities and support Nottingham Rugby through their last two home games this season.
Speaking ahead of tonight’s sponsorship at Nottingham Forest Thomas Bow City Asphalt Managing Director Alistair Bow said “We’re really keen supporters of sport in Nottingham and want to see Nottingham Rugby thrive at their new home. We hope that through tonight’s sponsorship we might see some more Nottingham sporting fans down at Lady Bay enjoying the atmosphere next Saturday.”
