Lincolnshire County Council Highway Works
Thomas Bow City Asphalt are delighted to announce that they have continued their partnership with Lincolnshire County Council maintaining positions on the principal road network (PRN) select lists. In addition to this, they have also gained a position on the Civil engineering contract providing services up to £500,000.
Commercial Manager Andrew Jackaman commented on the contract, adding “We’ve developed a great relationship with Lincolnshire County Council since 2011 and to maintain our position in a competitive market on the PRN list, as well as gain a position on the Civil’s list, is very reassuring. Our teams have just commenced work on the first scheme valued at around £1,000,000 replacing the Thin Surface Course on six sites across the county and we look forward to further work in the new year.”
Lincolnshire County Council is geographically the fourth largest county in England, yet with a predominantly rural and dispersed population, it has no motorways and less than 38 miles of dual carriageway.
